1. About Penrith Blue Mountains Ladies in Business

Penrith Blue Mountains Ladies in Business (“PBMLIB”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a local business networking community that provides events, workshops, community spaces and related services for business owners and professionals in the Penrith and Blue Mountains region.

2. Events & Participation

PBMLIB hosts regular networking events, workshops and community gatherings.

By attending our events, you agree to:

- participate respectfully and professionally

- engage in a supportive and collaborative manner

- comply with any venue rules or event guidelines

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove participants whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate or harmful to the community.

3. Tickets, Payments & Refunds

Event tickets must be purchased in advance unless otherwise stated.

Tickets are valid only for the specific event and date purchased.

Tickets are non-refundable unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If you are unable to attend, tickets may be transferred to another person with prior notice to PBMLIB.

4. Changes & Cancellations of Events

PBMLIB reserves the right to:

- change event details (including date, time, venue or speakers)

- postpone or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances

If an event is cancelled by PBMLIB, ticket holders will be offered a refund or credit.

5. Community Conduct

PBMLIB is a community-based platform. By participating you agree to:

- treat others with respect and professionalism

- no harassment, bullying, discrimination or hate speech

- no aggressive selling or spam behaviour

- no inappropriate or offensive conduct

We reserve the right to remove participants from events or community spaces if these standards are breached.

6. Photos, Videos & Marketing

By attending PBMLIB events, you consent to the use of photographs and videos taken at events for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media, websites and printed materials.

If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the event organiser.

7. Intellectual Property

All PBMLIB content, branding, event materials and resources remain the intellectual property of Penrith Blue Mountains Ladies in Business.

You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use PBMLIB content without written permission.

8. Disclaimer

PBMLIB provides networking opportunities, community connection and general business discussions.

We do not provide:

- legal advice

- financial advice

- tax advice

Participation in PBMLIB events does not guarantee business outcomes, referrals, income or results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PBMLIB is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in events, activities or community spaces.

All participation is at your own risk.

10. Third-Party Venues & Services

Events may be hosted at third-party venues or use third-party platforms.

PBMLIB is not responsible for the actions, policies or conditions of third-party venues or service providers.

11. Termination

PBMLIB may refuse entry or terminate participation at any time if these Terms are breached or behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

No refunds apply in cases of removal for misconduct.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy available on our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
